Andrew has well proven general management skills in profit driven environments, esp. in sales, marketing, team building, cost control and business strategy, and has worked with SME`s in many countries. He is Managing Director of his own business consultancy, and a Director of South West Business Partners.
Gary Nichols - Director
Specialist skills - Senior Management in the UK aerospace and defence industries. Gary has real expertise of managing change and of successfully developing world class technical and systems support programmes for the Ministry of Defence. He is also Managing Director of his own business consultancy and an IT software company, and a Director of South West Business Partners.
Glenn Pearson - Director
Specialist skills - Senior Management in the public sector, and the automotive retail industry. Glenn has broad operational experience in successful, competitive and commercial environments, and is a sales and marketing specialist. He is Managing Director of his own business consultancy, and a Director of South West Business Partners.
Kevin Woodward - Director
Specialist skills - Senior Management with finance - group treasury, tax and HR remuneration roles. Kevin`s background includes PLC experience at a senior level in the oil and gas industries, and working internationally. He is Managing Director of his own business consultancy, and a Director of South West Business Partners
Gill Bray - Associate
Specialist skills – 30 years of successful sales, marketing and team leadership in blue-chip companies. A qualified Prince 2TM (Project management) Practitioner, Gill specialises in sales, team performance and project management to provide clear business vision, direction and action plans. Gill is a director of her own business consultancy, and is a business mentor to law firms with Legal Mentors.
Francine Brooks - Associate
Specialist skills - Senior Management in Marketing Services and People Development. Francine is an experienced facilitator of people development, change management and business development strategies, combining the creativity of marketing and the reality of HR to enhance performance, working across both public and private sectors. Francine is also Managing Director of her own business consultancy.
Andy Christie - Associate
Specialist skills: sales and marketing, strategy development and implementation, customer intelligence, profit improvement and business turnaround. Andy’s background includes Managing Director roles in the paper, chemical and technology sectors. He has a strong sales and marketing focus. Andy is Managing Director of his own consultancy business and an associate of SWBP.
Les Clemenson - Associate
Specialist skills – making the best business use of communications and computer technology. Les is an experienced technology manager with skills in developing, buying, deploying, using and selling advanced technical products. He has worked for a large multinational and has extensive international business experience. He is now managing director of his own consultancy and is an Associate of South West Business Partners
Roy Duffy - Associate
Specialist skills – strategy, change management, M & A, culture shift, executive coaching and personal development. Roy’s career has included senior positions in sales, marketing and general management in major international companies, and he has international business experience. Roy runs his own business coaching and consultancy organisation, and has worked with many well-known organisations, as well as central and local government departments.
Fiona Dukes - Associate
Specialist skills – Human Resources in both large and small companies in the private sector. Fiona has a generalist HR background and provides practical advice on all types of staff issues – including contracts, discipline/grievance, legislation, absence management, appraisals, HR policies, terms and conditions, TUPE. She also runs her own HR consultancy, and is an Associate of South West Business Partners.
Denis Lidstone - Associate
Specialist skills – Broad business experience working at board level within an organisation, bringing specific skills in strategy development, all aspects of change management and business transformation. Denis has the ability to provide external views, challenge and guidance to Programmes, Projects and Management Boards. Specific industries and organisations include MoD, Shipbuilding and the Public Sector from Primes to SME’s.
Clare McNamara - Associate
Specialist skills – a skilled leadership and communication coach with experience across a wide range of organisations in both the private and public sectors. Clare inspires people to rethink and transform their view of what is possible whilst maintaining a pragmatic eye on the need to address real business issues and achieve success. Clare is also Managing Director of her own coaching practice.
Richard Thomas - Associate
Specialist Skills – Senior Management in the logistics industry, including the construction and management of cold chain facilities. Richard is also an energy management specialist. He is Managing Director of his own security business and an Associate of South West Business Partners. He is also a Board member of the Plymouth 2020 Local Strategic Partnership and is widely involved in private sector membership organisations.
